I am so excited for your ideas on thrift!!! Would also love your thoughts on grandparenting. For example how do you serve a nice sit down dinner with all of the little ones filling up the house?

Habibti,
Thank you for your words of wisdom. As fall approroaches homemade beer quick bread and stuffed cabbages topped with stewed tomatoes and sourcrout. It can sit in the crockpot until after church. Make on Saturday dump in crockpot to warm until dinner. Salad, wine and your apple crumb topping over frozen apples and blueberries.
Thrift, I use empty kleenex boxes for reusing plastic bags from the grocery.

I am an Orthodox Christian mother and aspiring SAHM (after the baby we are currently expecting it will make more financial sense for me to work part-time and otherwise stay at home, God-willing).
I often feel like I am at the “apprentice stage” of homemaking; my mother worked full-time and was often the breadwinner as my father’s health was poor. Many things I feel like I am learning “from scratch!”
I love your blog and look forward to both the thrift section and the book!
