~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~
Every Thursday, here at Like Mother, Like Daughter!
It's also lovely to see all the summer things that are holding out. This is a brave little lavender plant here:
And I found what I think must be the last raspberry of the year.
I also love swings. The Chief hung this one at the end of the summer.
I have a feeling that at some stage in life you're supposed to outgrow swings, but does anyone ever, really? Yes, the ground starts to seem a lot closer than it used to, and yes, the rush of air isn't nearly as exciting as it used to be, but don't let that inhibit you! Age is just a number!
{happy}
As for the happy, well, *sigh*… Shane Victorino makes me happy.
My amazing eldest brother got us all tickets to game six for The Chief's birthday.
I honestly don't know if I can describe how exciting that was, but I'll give it a shot with this little exchange–
Me: It's so much fun when you're celebrating with everyone around you, and they're complete strangers, but you just love them.
The Chief: I know. They're so right on the essential issues.
Everyone in Boston was right on the essential issues last Saturday.
{Funny}
These two.
{real}
The real is that I don't have any pictures for real. But I think the cat is cute, so we'll throw in a picture of him, for good measure.
