So, it wasn’t Snowpocalypse, but it was over 30 inches of snow and high winds. A respectably intense storm! Up against the house you don’t quite believe it, but that’s because the wind whipped right across.
I’ll tell you who is happy to frolic out there! My neighbor was calling her dog, and I was pointing out that it’s better than frolicking inside the house!
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I was hunkered down with this puzzle, starting with the weekend’s storm. What a blast from the 90s, huh? Mary Englebreit!
Normally I wouldn’t pull out a jigsaw puzzle, but Bridget and her friends had been doing one, and I had the itch. Habou was happy to enable. Between us, it took days of obsession to finish it — 1000 pieces, don’t know what I was thinking.
Finally, as the blizzard subsided, I finished it up, irritated as heck at it and also really enjoying that last hour, where the pieces just pop in. Thank goodness it was done.
What a waste of time!
