Whoa. So many photos from our trip to Massachusetts over Christmas! It took me so long to go through them all that now the baby needs to settle down and nurse, so I’m going to quickly put some of my favorites up and give you a little glimpse of our visit.
My mother’s house is so pretty at Christmas. I mean, it’s pretty all the time. But she and her house do Christmas particularly well, I think.
So, for that matter, do my mother-in-law and her house. Yes, that’s right. We have not one but two beautiful old New England homes full of loving relatives waiting for us when we visit.
Will had the brilliant idea to set the tree up on a riser to make up for it not being absolutely as big as it could possibly be. (The ceilings in there are very high indeed.)
The result? The tallest of the uncles standing on a stool while holding Pippo up to put the star on top. He needed a little counterbalance so they didn’t both just tumble right into the tree.

Someone turned three!
Everyone had so much fun giving the “twin cousins” matching outfits, though they didn’t always cooperate for the photos.
